I have just received a phone call from a concerned member in regards to the condition of the greens and the amount of pitch marks that are going unrepaired.
The condition of the course in general( except for the bunkers)is at the moment in pristine condition however we are letting ourselves down by not repairing pitch marks on the greens . It is so easy to whinge and moan about the condition of the course HOW ABOUT DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT it doesn’t take long to fix a couple of pitch marks whether they be yours or someone else’s as you walk off the green . It will be appreciated by your fellow golfers and our hard working ground staff .
So come on everyone let’s make a concerted effort to eradicate pitch marks from our greens
