To help everyone plan ahead, please find below an outline of several major upcoming events and how tee times and course access will operate on each day.
We appreciate your understanding during these busy periods and encourage members to book 12 days in advance where possible.
Friday 20 February – Yarra Courses Senior Pennant
• Event: 18 holes on Nursery Course (Holes 1–18)
• Format: Two-tee start from 11:15am
Member & Public Access:
• 18 holes (Holes 1 & 10 start): 7:00am – 8:17am
• 9 holes from Hole 19: 11:00am – end of day
Sunday 22 March – Doncaster East Football Club Day
• Event: Shotgun start at 1:00pm
Morning Play:
• Two social groups (one members’ group and one long-standing group)
• All other morning tee times: Members only (no public bookings)
• Normal Sunday three-tee start field: 7:00am – 8:38am
• All three courses: Members only (except the two social groups)
Carts:
• If you book during this period and require a cart, please email me directly
• Priority will be given to members who regularly require carts
Other Access:
• 9 holes from Hole 19: Available From 11:00am – end of day (Members & Public)
Friday 27 February – Eastern Courses 55+ Pennant & Mt Evelyn FNC
• 7:30am: Shotgun start – Eastern Courses 55+ Senior Pennant (Nursery Course)
• 1:00pm: Shotgun start – Mt Evelyn Football Netball Club (Nursery Course)
Course Access:
• Holes 1–18: Closed all day (no 18-hole play available)
• Holes 19–27: 9 holes available from 10:30am
Carts:
• No carts available on this day
Sunday 1 March – Victorian Women’s Pennant (Division 4)
• Format: Two-tee start from 8:00am on Nursery Course
Member Access:
• Limited 18-hole tee times for members only from 7:00am – 7:42am (10th tee start)
• No guests or public bookings
Other Access:
• Homestead 9 holes: 7:00am – 12:00pm
• 18 holes from Hole 19: From 12:57pm (Members, Guests & Public)
Friday 20 March – Eastern 55+ Senior Pennant
• Format: Shotgun start from 7:30am (Holes 1–18)
Course Access:
• 9 holes from Hole 19: From 10:30am
• 18 holes from Hole 19: From 11:30am – end of day
• Holes 10–18: 9 holes available from 1:00pm
Sunday 19 April – Victorian Men’s Pennant (Division 5)
• Format: Two-tee start from 11:15am
• Course: Nursery Course
Further details regarding member access and tee times will be communicated closer to the date.
These dates reflect a mix of pennant competitions and social/corporate group bookings, both of which play an important role in the ongoing success of the club. Hosting pennant events allows us to showcase our course and the improvements we have made to clubs from across Victoria and within our local region. Our social and corporate days also enable us to build strong connections with local sporting clubs, social golf groups, and community organisations, while providing a vital revenue stream that modern golf clubs simply cannot operate without. We are fortunate to have 27 holes, which gives us the flexibility to maintain member access in most situations. Many traditional 18-hole courses do not have this advantage and are often required to close their course for most of the day or morning during major events.
