Dear Members,
We’re excited to announce a 2-month winter tee time trial for June and July, designed specifically to enhance your weekend golf experience during the colder months.
⛳ Saturday Morning Member Priority – A Win for 7-Day Members
Starting Saturday, May 31st, all three courses will be reserved exclusively for 7-day members and their guests from 7:30am to 12:00pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our 7-day members, who are the backbone of our club and often rely on Saturdays as their main playing day. By creating a true members-only window across all courses, we’re ensuring they get access to the best tee times without competition from public bookings.
👉 Please note:
-
Members on 2-day, 5-day, or 6-day packages will not be eligible to book during this Saturday morning window.
- Lifestyle Members are still able to play using their points
-
Only 7-day members may bring guests during this time.
-
From 12:00pm onward, the courses will reopen to public players, giving us the best of both worlds: exclusive member access in the morning and continued revenue in the afternoon.
We’ve chosen to share this information with all members, not just 7-day members, because it’s important for everyone to be aware of the benefits tied to each membership category. If you’re ever considering upgrading to 7-day membership, this trial highlights just one of the key advantages.
🌄 Sunday Morning Adjustments
To help manage later sunrises and morning frost, Sunday AM tee times will now begin at 7:30am-8:30am
One of the three courses will be reserved for members only in the morning, while the other two remain available to public players.
❄️🌫️ Updated Frost & Fog Policies
We’ve also updated our Frost and Fog Policies to ensure a consistent, fair, and safe approach during winter. While tee time cancellations are always a last resort, the policies clearly outline how delays will be handled and under what conditions play may be suspended or rescheduled.
Staff will continue to do everything possible to get players on course safely, including using alternate starting holes or adjusting group flow.
Please see the website for latest updates.
This trial period gives us a chance to test a more member-focused model, and we’re confident it will improve your overall experience. We welcome your feedback throughout June and July as we assess the impact of these changes.
Thank you for being part of Yering Meadows.
